Marky Kelly has been in love with ceremony since she started creating them for secondary school assemblies while still a student. A writer, interviewer, and composer, she keeps an ear towards the "music" of the language she incorporates in her ceremonies.

She has co-taught courses in women's spirituality with Lutheran minister Joan Hunt, and collaborated on a relationship seminar co-presented with author Neale Donald Walsch. Raised Catholic, she nurtures a strong spiritual orientation to life, incorporating knowledge and experience gleaned from many sources. She especially enjoys the collaborative process, growing ideas into realities by brainstorming with others.
